"If you are a nervous patient THIS is the practice for you!"

My husband and I were patients of Karen's at her previous practice, and I can only say that I sould not have delayed as long as we did following her.  I have been a very nervous dental patient from childhood and it is quite an achievement to have moved me to the point where, not only am I not afraid, but I actually find myself looking forward to keeping my appointments.

The atmosphere in the practice is incredibly welcoming and friendly, the staff are full of smiles, the waiting room is luxurious and the coffee excellant.  More importantly I feel confident that I am not going to suffer (even if I occasionally forget to breathe!)

Karen will always make sure that the level of anaesthesia is sufficient for my barely-existant, cowardly pain threshold, and is the only person who is ever likely to make me laugh while sticking a needle in me!!

Karen has an acute and irrepressible sense of humour so that I am thoroughly entertained whilst recieving excellant treatment.  I have taken to admiring my molars after some recent work to replace some ancient fillings, as they no longer look like a repository for scrap metal, but like real teeth!!

If you are nervous patient this is the practice for you!

Go and see Karen and the gang at Beacon, and your attitude to visiting the dentist will be changed forever- it's like dropping in to see friends who just happen to be able to do brilliant and painless dental work!!!

"The whole team at Beacon are Fantastic!"

I needed a root canal filling and was beside myself with terror.  I arrived and was met by a very cheery yet calming Karen Sutton (I've yet to fathom how Karen is so cheery AND amazingly calming at the same time!)

I sat down in the chair and just started crying with the fear, I felt really embarrassed (I'm usually a very level headed, capable person but as soon as I go to the dentist I become a jibbering wreck and the fear takes over) but I was NEVER made to feel daft, in fact the care and understanding I was shown by Karen and the dental nurse, Paula, was awesome.

Oh, the root canal treatment was painless; in fact I ended up laughing at the DVD playing on the screen above the chair!

The whole team at Beacon are fantastic.

It's caring people like them that turn people's dental phobias and fears into something so much more manageable.
